On March 28, I will be participating in my 7th Race to Nowhere an event which benefits the M.S. Achievement Center (MSAC) located on K.U. Medical Center’s main campus. At the MSAC, my M.S. group meets for 5 hours on Mondays doing physical and occupational therapy activities, sharing in support groups, doing brain-balance activities as well as participating in electives which change every month e.g., book club, current events, art, movement and meditation, chair yoga. Guest speakers provide current educational information about the disease, helpful resources and answers to our many specific questions. MSAC members are living with progressive M.S. The sharing of each other’s struggles and successes, the support and encouragement we provide one another, along with the bond we share is invaluable to me. The MSAC relies on donations to maintain the facility, its staff and its operating costs.

The Race to Nowhere is 1 of only 2 annual fund-raising events for the MSAC. I would be grateful to have your support as the Ready’s Racers pedal furiously in the 2026 Race to Nowhere to raise money for this incredible program. Thank you for your consideration!
