Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I was diagnosed with Relapsing and Remitting Multiple Sclerosis in February of 2020, and then unfortunately, re-diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis in September of 2020. Since then, my physical abilities have continued to decline with my disease progression. Since Spring of 2024, I have had a pretty significant decline, and since July of 2024, I have become primarily bed-bound. Thankfully in September of 2024, I was told about the MS Achivement Center (MSAC) at KUMED, and started attending mid-October. 

The MS Achievement Center has been an absolute blessing for me since I started attending weekly on Thursday's. Although I am still primarily bed-bound, I have noticed increase in my stamina in being out of bed for longer periods of time. I have made friends with many people who live with the same limitations and disabilities that I do. This program has also been a blessing for Deena, as she gets 5 hours a week with no wotrry of if I am okay, because she knows that I am in good hands!

While we all do pay a monthly fee to attend this wellness program, there is so much of their operating expenses that are not covered, and as a non profit organization, they depend on donations and fundraisers. These donations also help to support those who might not be able to afford attending the MSAC, but would benefit from it as much as I do. 

This Race to Nowhere fundraising event is one of the biggest that the MSAC does every year, and I am so excited to be a part of it this year! 

I  am asking if you would please join my team! By joining my team you can; 1-participate in riding the stationary bike for 30 min, in a race to nowhere ;) 2- donate funds to support me doing the race to nowhere, or 3- you can do both, donate and participate.
